What data we collect
We collect personal data when you:
- Subscribe to the newsletter (email address, name, country)
- Apply to a Product Circle event (name, email, role, LinkedIn URL, application answers)
- Take an assessment or survey on form.productcircle.co (see the Forms Privacy Policy)
- Submit a team inquiry through the website (name, email, company, message)
- Browse the site with analytics consent enabled (anonymised page views, device type, referrer)
Why we collect it
- To deliver newsletters, event communications, and assessment results you've requested
- To review event applications and respond to inquiries
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To meet our legal obligations and protect against fraud
How we store and protect it
Personal data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL, EU region) with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to authorised Product Circle team members. Newsletter sending uses Resend and SendGrid; analytics use PostHog and Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2.
How long we keep it
Event applications and member records are retained while you're part of the community. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Anonymised analytics may be retained indefinitely. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time

Cookies
We use cookies only with your consent. The cookie banner is the place to grant or withdraw consent. Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid, _ga_*) are set only after you accept.
Third parties
We do not sell your data. The following services may process it on our behalf:
- Supabase: database hosting (EU region)
- Vercel: application hosting
- Resend: transactional email
- SendGrid: bulk newsletter delivery
- PostHog: product analytics (cookieless)
- Google Analytics 4: site analytics (Consent Mode v2)
- Airtable: operational records for applications and people
